Over 100 people attend stadium tours

On Wednesday, around 110 people took advantage of the six SMH Group Stadium tours organised by the Community Trust. The tours were led by company secretary Peter Whiteley, stadium announcer Howard Borrell and 1866 Sport commentator Phil Tooley.

Starting with the Memorial Garden, the groups then visited the Karen Child Community (East) Stand Executive Box where a brief history of the club was outlined.

Onto the home dugout and dressing room, the tours then entered the boardroom where there was a display of old shirts as well as the brand new 2024/25 season ones.

The participants were also delighted to see the National League Trophy in the boardroom – plenty of photos were taken!

The trophy cabinet was the final stop-off for the visitors.

Tours are organised for each school holiday, so keep an eye out for the next ones.
