Remedi sessions at the Spireites Youth Hub

As part of the Trust’s succesful partnership with Remedi, participants from the Premier League Kicks ‘Friday Night Football’ sessions were invited to the Spireites Youth Hub in Chesterfield town centre to participate in Remedi’s ‘Tools Down’ education workshop.

The Tools Down workshop was created to help young people build awareness and understanding around knife crime, including the dangers of carrying a weapon and the repercussions of being involved in knife crime.

The workshop is the second one run in partnership with Remedi, following the ‘Restorative180’ workshop that focused on anti-social behaviour and building awareness around the repercussions of being involved in criminal activity.

The partnership sessions with Remedi will continue to occur once a month at the Spireites Youth Hub to help young people understand and raise awareness of current issues affecting young people.
