The ABC (Affected By Cancer) support group meets again this Friday (March 22), from 10am to 12pm, in the SBK Spires Restaurant.
The group is for anyone affected by cancer, those with a cancer diagnosis and those affected by someone having a cancer diagnosis.
Dawn Warrington, Macmillan information and support lead nurse, facilitates the group, supported by Andrea Parkinson Chesterfield FC Community Trust’s wellbeing manager.
This month the meeting will be focusing on getting more active through seated exercise activities with the session being run by Olly Parkinson, senior community officer (Adult Wellbeing lead) and Oli Barnes, community officer (Wellbeing).
There will always be a warm welcome, with friendly, professional and helpful support and free refreshments.
