Trust join forces with SHAPE Learning Partnership

During the 2023/24 academic year, Chesterfield FC Community Trust will be partnering with SHAPE Learning Partnership, who are the local schools games provider in Chesterfield.

Part of the partnership will allow more schools in the area to access national events, with qualification via regional heats and finals.

The organisations that offer, organise and deliver these national events are the English Schools Football Association, National League Trust and the Premier League.

Commenting on the partnership, the Trust’s physical education lead, Robert Stevenson, said: “This is an exciting partner to have for the upcoming academic year. Working with SHAPE will allow us to expand our events across Chesterfield and be able to offer opportunities to even more schools in the area.

“On Friday, October 6, our first regional heats take place. We look forward to seeing as many schools there as possible.”

Paul Ryan from SHAPE Learning Partnership added: “It’s an exciting venture for us. There is an opportunity for us to add strength with the work that we are both doing across the community to support our young people.

“We have a shared vision to educate and support young people to be out there and be more active. It is great to be working with a trusted partner with a reputation of providing opportunities for young people.”
