As an organisation committed to helping and supporting children and young people, the Community Trust is proud to support Children’s Mental Health Week 2023.
The Trust is passionate about working together with partners in Chesterfield to support improving Children’s Mental Health.
At the start of the year, it was reported that the number of children needing treatment for ‘serious mental health problems’ in England had risen by 39% in one year, with over 1.1 million children seeking mental health treatment referrals in 2021-22.
Jayne Bacon, the Trust’s chief operating officer, said: “Today we share the many projects delivered by the Trust to help children and young people to make connections in the community, access physical activity, make new friends, take part and have fun.
“We want children, young people and families to know we are there to help.”
