Praise for the valuable support provided by the Trust on matchdays has been received from the EFL’s director of community, Debbie Cook, following her visit to the SMH Group Stadium.
Writing for the ‘EFL in the Community Weekly Update’, Debbie said: “On Saturday, I topped off a great couple of weeks, meeting the Deputy COO at Chesterfield Community Trust, Keith Jackson and Club CEO John Croot ahead of their game.
“It was wonderful to see the Community Trust facilities bursting at the seams on Saturday with the community team showing how much they contribute on a match day as a key link between Club and Community; a fine example of working together, which we know to be mutually beneficial.”
