September 10 marks this year’s World Suicide Prevention Day, which was first established in 2003.
The Trust works in conjunction with organisations such as Derbyshire County Council and Public Health to designate one game a year towards the cause.
This year, the dedicated fixture is Chesterfield’s home encounter with Cheltenham Town on September 21.
At the game, there will be 30 volunteers from organisations such as Samaritans and Derbyshire County Council who will be handing out ‘Z cards’, detailing helpline numbers as well as outlining the Spireites’ fixtures for the season.
