Excitement ahead of Planet Super League start!

Spireites partner schools and staff at the Community Trust are excited ahead of the start of Planet Super League!

Aimed at getting people environmentally conscious and active, the competition will see schools partner up for Chesterfield, against the likes of Tottenham Hotspur, Wolves and Aston Villa.

Points are earned by completing challenges, ranging from checking the radiators in your house for air bubbles, to trying to go a day meat-free!

Robert Stevenson, the Trust’s Premier League Projects lead, said, “We’re delighted with the numbers of schools and families who are joining us to take part and we think we have a real chance of beating some of the Premier League opposition!

“By being active, environmentally conscious and being part of a team, youngsters are really going to have fun and hopefully take in a vitally important message at the same time.”

Signing up to Planet Super League is free for our Spireites partner schools. For more information about the project, please email robertstevenson@spireitestrust.org.uk
