Chesterfield company KranLee Logistics Ltd have generously donated £1,000 to Chester’s Christmas Toy Appeal!
Commenting on the four-figure donation, director Karen Mosley said: “When we heard about Chester’s Christmas Toy Appeal, we immediately wanted to give our support back to the local community.
“Christmas can already be a very stressful time for families and on top of what has been an incredibly difficult year, we wanted to do our bit to help out.
“The business owners and all of its employees were born in Chesterfield and have never left the area. It’s important that as a community we all try to support each other.
“We don’t believe that any child should wake up on Christmas morning without a present to open and a beaming smile.”
Bridget Ball, Chesterfield’s marketing manager, said: “I’d like to thank KranLee Logistics for this tremendous gesture and appeal to other local companies to support this initiative.”
Any company who wishes to make a donation should email Bridget via bridgetball@chesterfield-fc.co.uk.
Any individual who wants to donate to Chester’s Christmas Toy Appeal should wait until the lockdown period is over and then take the unwrapped toy(s) to Chester’s Den in the HUB at the Technique Stadium from Monday to Friday (8am-7pm).
