Chesterfield FC Community Trust’s traineeship programme has been relaunched as ‘Reboot’. The Reboot programme is for participants who are not in education, training or employment.
Through the Reboot programme, we will engage personally with each individual participant to understand each individual and their needs, what goals they want to achieve and set out a plan to achieve these.
To achieve these goals, we instil confidence in each individual through one to ones, excellent pastoral care and meeting the individual needs of each participant.
By raising the aspirations of each participant through our Reboot programme, we will inspire each participant to change and pursue the career path they wish.
Over the past three years we have seen participants thrive in the environment and go on to bigger and better opportunities.
With an average 90% achievement rate on the programme over the past three years, we have helped over 150 participants to complete the course and head off into further education, employment or an apprenticeship. Our programme has been a key part of each participant’s journey.
Steph O’Brien, the Trust’s senior education officer, said: “Through the Reboot programme, we have so many successful stories of our participants moving on to further education, training or employment.
“We pride ourselves on ensuring that every individual’s needs are met and the pastoral care and support we provide has seen the confidence of individuals go from strength to strength.”
