Kind-hearted Brenda Clark has personally funded Camp Inspire places for two youngsters who would otherwise have been unable to attend.
Brenda is a regular visitor to the HUB and has generously provided financial support to help fund other Community Trust programmes in the past.
Commenting on her latest donation, Brenda said: “I think Camp Inspire is a great idea, giving the kids something to do over the summer and make new friends.
“Some of the youngsters are disadvantaged and I was keen to help out.”
Scott Atkinson, the Trust’s head of education and wellbeing, said: “We are very grateful to Brenda for her generous support, which is very much appreciated.
“Camp Inspire has been a tremendous success and we would welcome support from individuals or businesses to help us provide more places for disadvantaged youngsters.”
Camp Inspire is an innovative Health & Wellbeing Summer Camp for 4-17 year olds which has been developed as a COVID recovery response, helping children and young people prepare for a return to school in September.
