Thursday 5th July saw the Trust’s first ever Golf Day take place at South Chesterfield Golf Club, Grassmoor.
The day itself was a huge success with people taking part from a variety of different backgrounds all coming together to support the Trust. With players on the day coming from the Trust’s own projects, partners of the Trust, members of the golf club and ex Chesterfield FC Legends Dave Waller and Jamie Hewitt also in attendance.
Trust CEO John Croot said “I’d just like to thank all of the people on the day who came and supported us, we’ve never ran a golf day before so we knew it was going to be a big challenge but it was fantastic to see so many people coming together to support the Trust.”
“I’d also like to thank south Chesterfield Golf Club for all of their support in putting the day together, we certainly wouldn’t have been able to pull it all together without their support and experience. “
