Last Wednesday, April 11, Partner Schools Brockwell Junior and Spire Junior School received a very special visit from a couple of Premier League ambassadors who were accompanied the Premier League Trophy.

Both schools were also joined by Chester but Brockwell was also visited by Blue Peter presenter, Radzi Chinyanganya as part of the Super Movers programme.

The students had a lot of questions about the trophy itself. They found out what the trophy is made of, what the ribbons represent and how much the trophy weighs. They also had to make sure that Chester didn’t take the trophy for himself.

After the Q and A session, pupils were allowed photos with the trophy. Even teachers took the opportunity tohave a photo with one of the World’s most prestigious trophies.

Dave Shaw, Head teacher of Spire Junior School, said: “It’s been a fantastic experience for them to see what the Premier League trophy is like and hopefully inspires them to see what is possible in the future. If you work hard these are the sort of rewards you can get.”
