Deaf Liaison Project launched

Are you a member of the deaf community, a BSL user, a parent/guardian or friend of someone who is deaf, or a deaf/hearing impaired individual?

In the Chesterfield FC Community Trust, we are working hard to improve our accessibility and to launch some new projects for the deaf members of our community.

We would love to converse with any person, at any age, who has some connection to the deaf community to discuss how we can provide the most deaf-friendly services possible. We would also welcome contact with professionals working alongside deaf adults or children.

We are working with the deaf community and we would like to know about your experience with Chesterfield FC, as well as with other local services and schools.

For the next two months, we will be having a walk-in hour every Monday, 4pm to 5pm. Simply come to the HUB at the Technique Stadium (located at the rear of the Karen Child Community (East) Stand) and you will be directed to our office to share your ideas and suggestions.

BSL support will be available.

If you are unable to visit us at this time, please do not hesitate to contact us via susannafantom@spireitestrust.org.uk.
