Help is being offered to the local community by Chesterfield Borough Council.

The cost of living crisis is squeezing local family budgets, as everything from energy bills to grocery shopping has soared in price.

Families already living in deep and persistent poverty have been struggling to afford food and pay their bills even before the soaring rise in energy bills in April and we need to do something now to help support our local communities.

That’s why Chesterfield Borough Council is working with partner organisations to take free advice and support into the communities where people live.

Marches Energy, Chesterfield Citizen’s Advice, The Freedom Programme and CBC Housing advisors will be in 12 areas of Chesterfield providing help for residents starting on Monday, May 16 to Tuesday, May 24 (except Wednesday, May 18). See details below…
