KranLee Logistics Limited have supported Chester’s Toy Appeal again this year after getting involved in last year’s inaugural appeal.
Directors Karen Mosley and Lee Wells made a substantial delivery of toys before the deadline for donations ended on Friday.
Explaining their reason for supporting the appeal again, Karen said: “It’s such a worthwhile cause and it’s local to us. With the support we get locally, it’s important that we give back. It goes along with the ethos and the culture of the business.”
Lee added: “It’s a brilliant cause, making people happy over Christmas when they should be happy. It’s just nice to be able to give back and make kids happy.”
Bridget Ball, Chesterfield FC’s marketing manager, said: “The support we have received for the appeal from KranLee Logistics and other local companies, together with individuals, has been fantastic.
“I would like to thank everyone who has made a donation as it really does make a difference.”
Sponsored by CRS Accident Repair, the initiative provides toys at Christmas for children’s charities and families who have experienced hardship.
