Health & Nutrition Social Action Project

This is the second week at Newbold Church School for our Health and Nutrition Social Action Project.

The children have been busy learning about different foods from around the world and creating their own healthy, balanced meal plates and recipes!

Alyss Hearnshaw, the Trust’s activities co-ordinator, said: “The sessions have been very well received.

“As well as producing healthy meals, the pupils will also be raising awareness of the use of food banks to help others, by creating their very own awareness posters.

“The children are collecting food items from home and spreading the word to friends and family in the hope that they can do the same to aid this project.”
