Directors from Chesterfield-based KranLee Logistics Ltd boosted Chester’s Christmas Toy Appeal by dropping off a vanload of toys at Chester’s Den which will be handed out to children in need in our area.
One of the directors, Karen Mosley, explained why the company decided to support the appeal. She said: “After such a difficult year for everybody, it’s nice to give something back to the local community. The appeal is going to help so many people, which is amazing.
Director Lee Wells added: “I’m a Chesterfield fan and the club is quite close to us as a business. After reading about the appeal on social media, we thought it was a good idea.”
Bridget Ball, the club’s marketing manager, said: “I’d like to thank KranLee and all the other companies and individuals who have generously supported the appeal.
“We have thousands of pounds worth of toys which will be distributed to familes who would otherwise be unable to give Christmas presents to their children.”
