The recent Chesterfield FC Junior & Youth Academy Golf Day proved to be a success and plans are now being made for the next one.
Held at South Chesterfield Golf Club, the event was attended by a number of Spireites legends.
One of them, Tony Lormor, carded the best individual score (51) and also featured in the winning team alongside Nigel Prestwood, Paul Thompson and Roy Griffiths.
Academy manager Neil Cluxton said: “It was a great success and I was delighted to see so many former players involved.
“I’d like to thank them for their support, together with everyone else who took part and Nathan Khan for organising the event.
“The money raised will help us develop the academy. We plan to put on another golf day next spring and will announce the details in due course.”
