If you are not in employment, education or training, Chesterfield FC Community Trust’s Reboot programme could kick-start your career!
The programme is a full-time, 12-week course includes a work placement which will be tailored to you and the career path you wish to follow.
You will be supported with achieving functional skills, Maths and English (if haven’t achieved previously) and give you the tools to make you work-ready with life skills and employability skills sessions.
Previous participants have moved on to apprenticeships at the Community Trust and other employers.
Others have moved into further education to gain qualifications to support them on their career path while many have moved into employment as a result of the programme’s work experience placement.
Alice Hodgson, a previous participant, is thriving as an apprentice with the Community Trust after mental health issued resulted in her losing her place at college.
She said: “When I came here, I still had a few issues, but I got over them due to the people who were here as they helped me. They didn’t push me away or tell me to leave if I was struggling.
“I really don’t think I’d be alive without them because they’ve given me the motivation to see life for what it is again, which is great.”
The latest cohort started last week and places on the next one are available, beginning on Monday, November 2.
