Spireites defender Will Evans was a welcome visitor to Camp Inspire ahead of his return to training.
Will took part in a Q&A session with youngsters attending the popular COVID-19 recovery programme organised by the Community Trust.
After the session, Will said: “It’s vitally important they get back into school and hopefully things are moving forward again.”
Scott Atkinson, the Trust’s head of education & wellbeing, said: “The youngsters loved being able to ask questions and I’m grateful to Will for taking part.
“The kids who’ve attended Camp Inspire have grown in confidence while they’ve been with us, as demonstrated by the fact that they were not fazed by posing questions.
“Camp Inspire has played an important role in getting youngsters prepared for a return to school following the lengthy break caused by the pandemic.”
The programme, which ends on Friday, has been attended by 145 youngsters.
