Superb feedback re Camp Inspire

Some superb feedback has been received re Camp Inspire, the pioneering new programme which was launched last week.

Parents and guardians have been in touch with us to say how much their children have enjoyed the sessions. The following comments are edited versions of some of the feedback received so far:

“I picked him up and he burst into tears and hugged me….he said he had such a fabulous time and he’s found his reason to get up in the morning. He’s really proud of himself and so are all his family.”

“Just thought I’d say what a fantastic job you guys are doing. Paige has loved it so much – thank you for making her feel welcome.”

“Thanks to you all, Lily-Male has had a great day.”

“Darci has loved every day. Thank you to all the fantastic staff.”

“I can’t believe how much he is loving camp. He is such a mummy’s boy he hates being away from me and now he can’t wait to go.”

“He is full of positivity and stories when he comes home so I can already see him thriving.”

“Both of my boys are loving it, it’s been a life saver for the whole family to be honest.”

“Liam has had a fantastic day! Thank you to you and the team for supporting him when he needed it.”

“Thank you so much. I can honestly say that being at Camp Inspire has been fantastic for Dillen. Since lockdown in March, he has been to school for ten sessions and I have had to collect him for five of them early due to his behaviour. You obviously have found exactly what motivates him and entertains him.”

“Massive thank you to all the team for a fantastic first week, the work you have out into Camp is amazing and my three boys have had a fantastic time. I received a text message one lunch time from my 16yr old telling me he was having a blast!!!! This is a child with no self confidence, low esteem and lots of other difficulties. I can’t explain what it means.”

“After only one week I have seen such a massive confidence boost in my kids from Camp Inspire…you guys really are an inspiration.”

“The camp has boosted their self esteem and given them the confidence to actually be themselves. The planning and organisation is fantastic. Scott and all of the team work so hard to engage with the children and build such positive relationships with them. My boys absolutely love it. The CFC Community Trust should be incredibly proud of Camp Inspire and everything it wants to achieve. Thank you so much.”

Running until Friday, August 28, Camp Inspire is centred around the five ways to wellbeing.

There are Camp Inspire Connect sessions for 4-10-year-olds and a Camp Inspire Activate programme for those aged 10-17.
