The annual celebration evening in the Chesterfield FC Memorial Garden will be the evening before the first Saturday home game.
This event at 6.30pm on Friday 10 August will mark all the fans and players who have passed over the last year. It is an informal event lasting about half-an-hour with everyone encouraged to stop afterwards around the Garden and HUB.
As well as marking those we have lost recently the evening will also remember the players who died serving with the Royal Air Force in the Second World War. With this year marking the 100th anniversary of the RAF the lives of the four Spireites lost will be recounted.
Everyone, particular families and friends of those remembered or shrewd in the Memorial Garden, is welcome to attend. If you know of any Spireite lost over the last season please let us know.
