The ETC will be holding open sessions throughout July for any young footballers interested in joining the programme. Players will train with the current ETC players and coach during the open sessions, which will take place at the ETC’s current home, Shirebrook Academy.
The Emerging Talent Centre may only be a year old but in the last year they have played against numerous other professional clubs such as Leicester City, West Bromwich Albion, Norwich City, Derby and both Sheffield Clubs.
Players have also travelled to Carrington to play against Manchester United’s Emerging Talent Group, as well as playing at Stamford Bridge just a few weeks ago!
The ETC have also promoted over 30 players for trials at the clubs academy, a large percentage of these players have been offered contracts with the academy.
