Last Monday, February 19, Spireites stars Kristian Dennis, Josh Kay and Alex Whitmore visited the children at the first day of Soccer School at St Mary’s Catholic High School for some fun and games.
The Chesterfield players spoke a lot about what their goals are at the football club, what helps them strive for success, their favourite players growing up and a whole host of other subjects.
Josh, Alex and Kristian stayed on after the Q and A session to partake in a mini tournament ran on the day in what was a very fun session for the children.
Kristian Dennis said, “It’s great to interact with the children in this kind of environment. Not only have we been able to answer any questions that the kids may have but we’ve been able to join in a mini tournament that was set-up for the kids.”
