On Monday 11th December, Kristian Dennis, Louis Reed and Charlie Wakefield visited Hunloke Park Primary School for their yearly Christmas Light switch on.
The first team players were faced with some tricky questions from the pupils like how their careers in football have gone, what it is like in the dressing room and what their plans are for Christmas. The pupils and players then sang some Christmas carols before Kristian Dennis officially switched on the lights.
Louis Reed said, “It was a fantastic afternoon and it really put me right in the Christmas spirit. It also made me feel young again as we were singing the same carols that were sung at my old school.”
Kristian added on to that by saying, “To be fair, I didn’t know that the lads could sing that well. They really surprised me.”
