The Community Trust has been named as S41 Radio’s charity partner with club mascot Chester the field mouse visiting the studios to cut the ribbon at the official opening.
Commenting on the link-up, S41 Radio director and presenter Jeremy ‘Jez’ Revell said: “As a community radio station, we are delighted to be associated with the Community Trust. As a lifelong Chesterfield fan, I’m really excited about getting involved with the club.”
S41 Radio director Simon Lockett added: “We are naturally keen to promote matters affecting the local community and the Trust does a lot of great work in the Chesterfield area, supporting a wide range of people. We will spread the word about their activities and help raise valuable funds to support them.”
Community Trust chief John Croot said: “We are pleased to be working in partnership with S41 Radio and wish them every success with their venture. I would like to thank Jeremy and Simon for choosing the Trust as their charity partner. I hope it is the start of a long and mutually beneficial relationship.”
