On Friday 3rd November, the Community Trust hosted the first ‘Quiz Night at the Proact’ with Phil Tooley assuming the role as the quiz master. The event pitted over 20 teams against each other in a bid to win the cash prize of £150.
The teams were quizzed on their knowledge of the subjects, the town of Chesterfield, Derbyshire, Chesterfield FC, music, TV/film, general knowledge plus various other topics.
A raffle was also drawn during the event with prizes being won like, a tin of roses, an FM radio, a £50 Sainsburys voucher, a signed Chesterfield football, and many other prizes.
The quiz and the £150 was won by the team of ‘Clarets and Two Shades of Blue’ led by their team captain, Andy Bond.
The event part of a project to re-engage with fans was a huge success, additionally £938 was raised for the Community Trust’s initiatives. The Trust would also like to thank everyone who attended and we hope to do this again next year.
